The Placerville Youth are spreading love and positivity by giving out free hugs at El Dorado High School. If you're feeling in need of a little extra love or just looking for a bright spot in your day, come on over to EDHS and receive a warm and comforting hug from one of our members. The Thanksgiving Picture Contest is a fun and creative way for the youth to express their gratitude this holiday season. The contest will run for a week, from November 20th to November 26th, with a different prompt for each day. PVCares is a community service initiative of the Placerville community that is dedicated to serving and caring for those in need. On Saturday, October 1st, PVCares will be joining forces with Common Ground Ministry at Green Valley Church to help feed people in need in our community. The volunteer event will take place at the youth chapel, starting at 7am.

The goal of PVCares is to make a positive impact in the lives of those who are struggling. By partnering with Common Ground Ministry and the Green Valley Church, PVCares is able to reach more people and provide them with a hot meal. PVYouth is forming a morning prayer circle at El Dorado Public High School (EDHS) before the start of classes. The purpose of this circle is to invite God's blessings and guidance into the lives of the students attending EDHS.

We recognize the challenges that students face every day and believes that starting the day with a focus on prayer can make all the difference.
